Melissa responds to the tragedy in Orlando
This weekend was tough. We all had to swallow what some extremist did to our brothers and sisters in Orlando. It was/is a terrible, terrible nightmare. Many tweeted their thoughts and prayers including Melissa:
She tweeted that she was in NY spending time with Bailey, thankful that she was safe. Later that evening, Melissa posted a picture of the Freedom Tower in NYC with these words:
I’m sure we all know this song is going to be the anthem of all anthems. Write Melissa. Let it out. We all grieve for the loss of those young souls who were out for a night of good fun with friends. We look forward to the song, but wish it didn’t have to come from such a tragedy.
